Corrections

If a number on this site is wrong, out of date, or cites a source that has moved, say so and point at the page. Every article carries a published date and an updated date, and a correction gets both the fix and a new updated date, so you can see that it happened.

Corrections are the most useful thing anyone sends. The sources for every figure are listed at the bottom of the page it appears on, so if one of them has changed, that is checkable.

What this site cannot help with

It cannot show you houses, represent you in a purchase, quote a mortgage rate, or refer you to a lender, a title company, an insurer or a home-warranty company. This is a guide, not an agency, and the rules it holds itself to are on the editorial policy page.

It also cannot tell you whether an area is a good area. See the editorial policy for why, and for the offices that publish the school and crime data so you can read it yourself.

Privacy requests

What this form collects, and what happens to it, is described on the privacy page. If you want something you sent deleted, ask here.
